Teaching Assistant - Birmingham

We are working
with a school in Birmingham and are looking to recruit a teaching assistants to
fill a full and part time vacancy.

The school that
we work with is a large secondary school, where pupils work hard to succeed.
You will be part of a large department and a successful school.

To apply to
this role you will need the following
To be
considered for a teaching assistant position you must: Have a
relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or above Have at least
1 year of experience as a teaching assistant in school Provide
references for the past 2 years, one of which must be from a school

The teaching
assistant roles that we recruit for are wide and varied. We are looking for
general class teaching assistants who are able to support whole class teaching,
as well as work with small targeted groups of children to ensure that they
achieve their learning goals.

We are also
looking for specialist SEN teaching assistants who are able to work 1:1 with
children with special educational needs and disabilities in a mainstream school
environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children
with SEN and have a positive and nurturing approach.

We expect all
of our teaching assistants to have excellent behaviour management and a good
understanding of the national curriculum.
