Services Software Product Consultant For Alm

Position Introduction:
Based out of Solihull, a Siemens Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Product Consultant collaborates with clients to identify, explain, design and implement the right solution(s) and processes in relation to the application of Siemens ALM products, primarily Polarion.
Working as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, a Siemens ALM Product Consultant is able to advise clients in business terms and technically on how to transform their software design and build operations with the application of Siemens ALM solutions.
The portfolio of Siemens products in scope will include primarily Polarion, also Teamcenter, Mentor Graphics.

Key Responsibilities:
The Siemens ALM Product Consultant will be expected to deliver product consulting assignments, as well as supporting sales and pre-sales activities within the sphere of the Siemens ALM Portfolio.

This may include:
Developing and designing Business Operating Models (processes, policies, procedures, etc.)
Improving business performance (e.g. Lean/Six Sigma, process analytics)
Re-engineering business processes to facilitate Siemens ALM solutions
Developing performance metrics and measures with clients
Creating business cases and managing benefits with clients
Configuration and implementation of Siemens ALM solutions
What do I need to apply for the role?

Skills and Experience:
Form strong and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, and these interactions should be second nature
Demonstrate intellect and clarity of thinking to move quickly to the heart of a problem or requirement
Ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas and solutions is essential
Demonstrable skills in Facilitation, Stakeholder Engagement, Creative Thinking, Presentation and Coaching
Exposure to a variety of verticals within the manufacturing or supply chain space
Assisting in the production of deliverables lists for proposals and projects
Development of work proposals ensuring cost, quality and deliverables
Leading the design co-ordination process on projects between the Siemens ALM team and its clients
Actively contributing to reviews and ongoing improvement in quality, efficiency and innovation

Full lifecycle experience of ALM and a knowledge of the supporting business processes
Process modelling environments such as RUP, XP, V-Model, CMM, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
Hands on experience of working within large and small teams of product consultants
Technically enabled with Microsoft technology stack, particularly TFS
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Coding skills (C++, Java, Python, etc.)
Experience or exposure with other ALM solutions and related solutions e.g. IBM Rational Doors, IBM Rational RTC, PTC MKS Integrity, Jama Contour, JIRA, Cognition Cockpit, Blueprint Software, HP ALM, Planisware, Wind River, Vector, Tricentis, Microsoft TFS, Teamcenter Requirements, Vissure, Mentor Graphics Context SDM.
Understanding of Requirements and Systems Engineering, Software Configuration Management, Version management, Problem tracking, Task Management
Sales aware and able to discover new business opportunities
