Human Resources Administrator

Job Title: HR Administrator Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Summary of Post:

An experienced Human Resource Administrator to join a leading domiciliary care provider, who can assist in the day to day administration of the provider.

As a HR administrator you will be responsible for clerical and administrative tasks, including:

  • Maintaining past and present employee records (soft and hard copies)
  • Process employees requests and provide relevant information
  • Provide basic advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedures
  • Assist in the recruitment and induction process
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Manage phone calls, and address and direct queries accordingly
  • Book and/or schedule appointments, interviews, supervisions, and appraisals
  • Attend meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute reports, emails, text messages, correspondence memos, letters,
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assist in training and development
  • Maintain and promote confidentiality, equality and health and safety
  • Handle requests from department managers and/or care coordinators

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in working within a similar position (experience as a HR administrator would be very desirable)
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum qualification of QCF Level 2/3 or a Bachelors degree in any discipline
  • Be a great team player with excellent organisational and time-management skills
