In this role you´ll be working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
A training programme on house and collections care will be provided as part of this role. This will normally take 12 months in order to experience changing conditions over four seasons and, on satisfactory completion, you will transition to a full conservation assistant role.

What you´ll be doing: As a Trainee Conservation Assistant, youll assist a great housekeeping team in an incredible place. You´ll undertake day-to-day care and cleaning of the historic building and its collections, caring for their preservation and presentation to visitors.

Who we´re looking forWe´d love to hear from you if you have:
A keen interest in history, historic properties and their collections
Have a strong interest in preventive conservation
A basic understanding of the approach required when working with fragile historic collections
Good manual dexterity and eye-to-hand skills and you are happy to work from ladders and tower scaffold
Are a good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Are willing to undertake continuing professional development and personal skills development and have an enthusiasm to learn
