We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Materials Planner to join our Operations Planning Team at our Accolade Park site close to the M5 near Bristol.

About the role - Detail

We work with over 30 suppliers and the Material Planning team ensures the continued supply of dry goods to meet the production schedule. Using JDE as our MRP system, you will be actioning messages driven by the accuracy and integrity of the data you maintain.

Building strong supplier relationships with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success within the role. You be communicating constantly whether to the rest of the Operations Planning team, Weybridge or suppliers so it is essential that you are comfortable on the phone, in person or via email. You will attending Supplier reviews with the Material Planners as a representative of Accolade Wines providing feedback on supplier performance.

You will be responsible for at least one category within the materials portfolio, including the daily order management, inventory level control and obsolescence through the phase in phase out process and ensuring 100% data compliance

This entry level role requires problem solving and interpretation of multiple data sources and therefore you should be confident in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

About you

You will be highly accurate with excellent attention to detail and willingness to take responsibility. We are looking for someone with self-confidence who wants to develop their career and are looking for their first opportunity in a manufacturing environment. You should be able to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative to seek improvements and opportunities and a great team player

Ideally you will have experience in a fast paced environment

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our Weybridge site if required.
