The client is a large not for profit organisation based in the city, offering car parking and a great friendly team to work with. They have an ongoing interim opportunity in HR for an experienced HR assistant and can offer a long term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key duties of the HR Assistant will include but are not limited to; completing safeguarding checks, preparing correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring payroll and pensions requirements are recorded, manage HR and payroll data systems, maintaining electronic and manual filing systems, updating HR spreadsheets and databases, undertaking recruitment and selection processes, driving recruitment campaigns, production of recruitment packs, absence recording, supporting the HR BP´s, monitoring accuracy of payroll records, providing first line transactional advice and responding to queries, monitoring and providing support for the HR Administrators.
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Assistant will;
Have worked in a similar role before within HR ESSENTIAL
Be immediately available to start ESSENTIAL
Have an understanding of payroll ESSENTIAL
Have provided first line advice previously ESSENTIAL
Have some knoweldge of employment law ESSENTIAL
Be proactive and able to work within a team ESSENTIAL
Have a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm and passion ESSENTIAL
Have worked within the public sector before DESIRABLE
Be CIPD qualified or studying towards it DESIRABLE
Be able to drive and have their own car DESIRABLE
What´s on Offer
£9.00 - £10.00 per hour + interim + ongoing + permanent opportunity potential + public sector + full time + HR assistant + Coventry + parking + asap start.
