We require a dynamic and talented General Manager to take on this successful four star 112 bedroom hotel. The hotel is located close to Birmingham Airport and the NEC and as such benefits from events taking place at the NEC whilst its Village location and stunning Georgian facade make this hotel a much sought after wedding and events venue.
Having recently completed a one million pound refurbishment including the opening of a stunning Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. We are looking for a General Manager with a proven track record of provide outstanding service to guests while leading by example and motivating your team to excel in everything they do.
The ideal person would have solid management experience in good quality hotel operations, revenue management and with a well rounded F&B background.
The ability to implement and maintain standards across all departments will be key to the long term success of the business whilst excellent revenue skills and sales strategy implementation will ensure the hotel obtains its market share in what is a diverse and challenging market.
The General Manager would be responsible for:
Managing all aspects of the hotel.
Full financial accountability for the hotel.
Efficiently overseeing strategic planning, sales and marketing.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
Making sure staff are constantly motivated and enthusiastic.
Having an in-depth knowledge of F&B sales and operations.
Knowledge of a branded,
volume F & B operations would be an advantage.
