This advanced software house based in Coventry are looking to create several opportunities for Software Support analysts / Application Support analysts to join their technical services team. Working in a small team of super-technical software support analysts, you will be responsible for providing software support on their bespoke software systems. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years commercial experience in supporting a software product, and be familiar with a range of Microsoft solutions.
It is imperative that candidates have experience of Accounts software or Accounts knowledge for this role.
Core responsibilities for this Support analyst role includes;
Provide 1st and 2nd Line support to customers in the UK and Ireland
Support internal departments with their work; development, testing, IT
Keep in-house support systems up to date
Make sure support requests are handled within agreed SLAs
Smoothly on-board new customers
Test new versions of our software to help with smooth deployment and upgrades
The ideal Software Support analyst will be an excellent communicator, youll be comfortable with technology and at ease explaining jargon and technical terms to end users with an abundance of enthusiasm for helping their customers successfully use their software. You will be proactive in finding solutions and will be comfortable at diagnosing problems quickly when under pressure.
It would be advantageous if the Software Support analyst / Application support analyst had knowledge of SQL Server and any previous experience of supporting accountancy software such as Sage or Pegagsus, Quickbooks, Xero etc (with knowledge of General Ledgers, Sales Ledgers and Purchase Ledgers) whilst demonstrating a good working knowledge of computer software and hardware is preferential.
