Event Recruitment And Communications Coordinator

Job Role

Working within and leading an office based team of coordinators to facilitate event staff specifications within a strict time scale. Communicating with internal and external staff sources recruiting for music festivals, sports and entertainment events, agricultural and equestrian shows across the UK. Key Duties

Applicants will be expected to carry out the following duties;

  • Compile daily schedules and objectives individually and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a high level of performance from the team.
  • Telephone/email enquiry and response management.
  • Casual-working staff application management.
  • Recruiting and allocating staff to specific event roles and various shift patterns.
  • Booking and allocating accommodation and other welfare facilities to events.
  • Communicating and distributing event documentation such as shift times and reporting locations.
  • Managing staff replacements and short-notice alterations when necessary.
  • Liaising with external agencies and contractors.
  • Providing a quick and efficient response in support to management requests.
  • Collate group data to present within management meetings.
  • Liaising and assisting with any internal department requirements and processes.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have the following attributes;

  • Staff recruitment experience.
  • Team leadership and staff management experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan schedules to alternate timescales and deliver to strict deadlines.
  • Confident and clear communicator with an excellent telephone
  • Remain calm, patient, but highly efficient under
  • Show attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to think laterally and handle the complexity of a fast pace working environment.
  • Fast learner, enthusiastic and initiative to develop the role.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Applicants must hold the following qualifications and licenses;

  • Minimum GCSE A-C in Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent.
  • Documentation on the right to work in the UK.
  • Valid UK driving license and use of vehicle.

Working Hours

Office operating times 9am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required during busy times to ensure that deadlines are met and that live events have the required level of support.

Company Information

CTM is a national provider of Event Traffic Management and Admission Control services to over 200 events per year. Its portfolio includes music festivals, sports events, county fairs, seasonal & cultural events, air shows and a number of static venues. It has also taken a lead role in providing services to major events such as Glastonbury Festival, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Tour de France 2014.
