Clinical Audit Facilitator - Band 5 (band 5) - Qua

An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our Clinical Audit Team. We are seeking a highly competent and experienced person with a high level of interpersonal, organisational and project management skills to be our Clinical Audit Facilitator. The successful candidate will be educated to graduate level or equivalent and will have significant experience of working in clinical audit and quality initiatives within the NHS.

The ideal candidate will have excellent facilitation, time, change and project management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to inspire trust and confidence. A sound knowledge of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, is required in order to collate and analyse clinical audit data. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are required to present reports, both written and verbal, to a wide range of professionals across the organisation. Experience in delivering training programmes is also desirable.

The post holder will be responsible for the promotion, co-ordination and delivery of clinical audit activity across the Trust. This includes facilitating and managing numerous clinical audit projects within a wide range of specialties; this will incorporate project design, data collection and analysis, report writing and presentation of audit results. You will assist in the organisation of specialty clinical audit meetings across the Trust and will facilitate discussion and implementation of remedial actions for completed clinical audit projects within specialty/clinical teams.
