Looking for a student to assist on the final day of the Writing Wrongs Schools project by giving an insight into studying Politics (or another Social Science) at The University of Warwick.
Duties and responsibilities
We are expecting about 50 sixth form students from a range of schools across the Midlands, most of the students are from disadvantaged/Widening Participation backgrounds.
During the day students will be rotating around 1:1 feedback sessions on their work, writing workshops, a campus tour and attending a mini fair in the law school hub where they can find out more information about our courses and student finance the ambassador will need to answer questions on their course and assist moving the group around.
Lunch will be provided.
Skills and experience
- Confident to talk to sixth formers
- Due to the nature of the role we are ideally looking for a Politics undergraduate (preferably, otherwise another social science but not Law)
- Excellent Communication skills
