We are recruiting for a Service Manager in the Edinburgh City Centre Area to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Service Manager you will report into the Account Manager. The role of Service Manager will include a salary of £20,000.00, negotiable depending on experience.
Working times would be mostly Monday to Friday with very occasional weekend work (as per needs of the business) up to 40 hours per week. This role does not come with a company vehicle due to the sites being in Edinburgh City Centre is more easily managed without therefore the successful candidate will have to plan their days with great accuracy and location planning.
The role will carry out regular site visits to ensure KPI´s are met, liaise with customer representatives ensuring their expectations are being met and exceeded. To manage front line staff to ensure standards is being met and exceeded. The management and auditing of labour & material budgets is a requirement.
The Service Manager will be responsible for all recruitment, staff management; time sheet submission to ensure all employees gets paid correctly and on time. Managing all staff that fails to comply with Andron systems and processing accordance with employment law. A need for experienced managers who have dealt with Disciplinary, Capability and Grievance processes although full guidance is available from the HR team.
Submitting monthly consumables orders in line with budgets and site requirements and performing quality audits via helpdesk in line with pre-agreed schedule. Ensuring quality of standards is maintained, liaising with subcontractors for service requirements and needs as appropriate.
Ensuring health and safety is prioritised at all times by revisiting risk assessments and arranging re-issue of up to date risk assessments from compliance administration, as well as performing new risk assessments as required, ensuring staff are aware of workplace hazards. Ensuring there is an accurate site pack and maintaining the site pack to ensure it is relevant with up to date RAs, COSHH and template forms.
Maintaining positive relations with the client and delivering outstanding client care is vital, strong customer service skills are required along with experience of problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
You would have good computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook). Cleaning industry technical expertise in multiple site work is essential. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. You will have the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
