About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Lean Sigma specialist to join the Process Improvement team, reporting to the Head of Process Improvement. The successful candidates will contribute to the work of the team, including a major integration programme. This is initially a fixed term contract for one year.
Using core skill sets of Lean Six Sigma, the successful candidate will provide process expertise to projects either led by Process Improvement, or broader initiatives where PI are contributing process expertise. They will ensure that good practice solutions are implemented and measured.
The successful candidate will have experience of applying Lean Sigma techniques to service-based business processes, have strong problem solving skills, be persuasive and skilled at managing change into the business, and able to measure the impact of improvements made. It will be important to have the skill to fit into a variety of teams and add value to their projects.
The Process Improvement team is also a training and coaching practice, and successful candidates will be encouraged to contribute to this effort with colleagues across the globe.
In return, the successful candidates will be part of an experienced and friendly PI Team of Master Black Belts and Black Belts, where they will be trained and coached to enhance their existing Lean Sigma skills.
Understand, apply and promote the company’s process improvement model.
Deliver Lean Sigma process analysis, insights and solutions which meet the needs of the projects allocated to you.
Work effectively with teams and team leaders to ensure that process solutions are incorporated, accepted and sustained.
Measure the benefits associated with your work and contribute to reporting the results to business leaders.
Be an effective member of the Process Improvement team, supporting colleagues, stakeholders and leaders in the achievement of the overall aims of the team.
Certified and active in Lean (level 1C on the Lean Competency Model) and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt)
Project management & change management skills
Financial Services experience
Certified in Six Sigma (Black Belt) or Lean (level 2 on the Lean Competency Model)
Knowledge of Investment Management
Knowledge of/experience in Asset Management
