Scotstaff Recruitment are currently looking for a Regional Manager for one of our clients a Social Care Company with operations throughout the whole of Scotland. Our client supplies services for Adults, Children and Families that need a serviced or sheltered accommodation. Some of the services deal with adults and children with learning difficulties and require someone with a background in dealing with these types of environments. The role will be supported by the Head office, heads of services and unit managers.
Your background and experience will come from an organisation wide level and you will have experience in delivering management to a multi service/unit level. You will have experience in the upmost level of service when dealing with the protection and wellbeing of clients in your care. Other duties will include but not limited to: Keeping up to date with relevant legislation in Adult and Child Protection and Child wellbeing Ensuring all procedures and implemented Managing all unit leaders/head and ensuring a safe and secure service to clients Developing procedures to accommodate all change and new clients to service Maintaining all records and information to ensure correct practise and legal circumstances are all kept proper and up to date As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for looking after all the Service managers and their teams. You will be responsible for 15 direct staff and up to 80 indirect staff.
Key skills and competencies You will be highly customer focused to meet the needs of the internal and external customers Development and delivery of key performance indicators for your region and relevant services You will carry the appropriate interpersonal skills to supports all the other key skills to be an all rounded manager. I.E. be engaging, strong leadership, strong communication and a good enabler. We are looking for someone with all the key qualifications when working within the Care sector.
Essential criteria are someone who has worked as a Regional Manager overseeing 4+ units/services minimum. Not essential but desirable would be a Degree in either Social work or Nursing. On offer is a Salary up to £50,000 per Annum, Company car or Car Allowance to the equivalent of £6000 per year. The role is a 6 month cover but may go permanent.
