Skipton are the fourth largest building society and we are looking for a Senior Customer Adviser in your local branch.

Main Responsibilities
What youll do for our customers

As a Senior Customer Adviser, youll be engaging in conversations and providing information to customers on the full range of financial products and services that we offer. By really listening to and getting to know our customers youll help them to review their circumstances and proactively identify the most appropriate products to suit their needs, all the while providing a straightforward, helpful service that lets your enthusiasm shine through.

In our friendly working environment, youll play an important part in making the most of every conversation with every customer, face-to-face or over the phone. So, whether youre promoting a new product or resolving a problem, youll always place our customers needs at the heart of everything you do and provide a first-class service every time.

This is a great opportunity to support your line manager with people management responsibilities delegated as required, for example, buddying, coaching, morning training sessions, observations, daily focus meetings, training. You will be role modelling exceptional service to your colleagues to bring together the team in delivering a great customer experience.

  • Experience of working in a leadership / assistant manager role and taking part in people management activities such as coaching, observations and feedback sessions
