Portfolio Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to join the Office of the CIO, providing support to the CIO community in operational activity including resource management and financial control.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Operate a set of core processes ensuring accuracy and control.

  • Assist with financial management through raising & tracking POs and dealing with related queries.

  • Owning the receipting, catch up invoicing process for CIO ensuring timely adherence to finance deadlines.

  • Production and analysis of quality MI deliverables using a blend of automated and manual methods.

  • First line support on PPM and Procure to Pay tools and processes for my area.

  • Supporting the resourcing & forecasting processes for CIO.

  • Supporting the time recording process for CIO understanding the implications of inaccurate recording and highlight inaccuracies.

  • Identify and support the implementation of continuous improvements.

  • Conducting training to CIO community on processes I operate and tools/systems I use.

  • Manage PMO SharePoint and shared drives, creating a central up to date library of our internal processes and MI deliverables.

  • Creating and maintaining team level activity schedule/plans.

Required skills/ experience:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office.

  • Experience of purchase ordering.

  • Experience of using PPM tools.

  • Data analysis.

  • Preparing reports.

  • Experience of operating control processes and associated data.

  • Proactive time management skills.

  • Sound organisation skills

  • Building relationships.

  • Experience of working in Financial Services is desirable.
