Credit Controller

Credit Controller, Edinburgh Park, £Commensurate with experience and skills

Overview and Responsibilities:
This is an exciting and interesting role for a successful candidate to develop their career in Sales Ledger and would suit those looking to move from entry level Credit Control.

The successful candidate will manage the Sales Ledger B2C independent customers and their accounts for Menzies Distribution. The role will focus on ensuring timely and effective collection of debt and escalation where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting on Debt performance and issue to management

Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring timely and effective collection of debt and escalation where necessary

Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices

Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external customers

Negotiating re-payment plans

People:

Customer Service:

Professional Experience / Qualifications:
  • Experience with Excel and Outlook (Essential)
  • Experience using a Financial package such as SAP (Desirable), however a distinctive advantage
