Installation Administrator

Union Technical have assisted thousands of homes by installing a range of energy saving products to help customers save money and stay warm. Based in Glasgow with a network of assessors and installers ensures we are able to carry out assessments and installation nationwide.

Details of the Post

You will be required to carry out Domestic Energy Assessments throughout the UK, on instruction from the main office. Your diary will be booked out weekly by our booking team, with your work schedule being available to view online.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely and take instruction from the team manager
  • Carry out an accurate and thorough assessment of every property
  • Maintain a positive and friendly company image when meeting all customers
  • Complete all required paperwork for each job & submit to the CRM
  • Ensure clear and constant communication is maintained with office staff and other teams where required
  • Adhere to paperwork requirement updates from the compliance team
  • Commitment to the use of best practice, continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Any other duties as may be specified on occasion.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Full DEA & GDA accreditation.
  • 2 years minimum experience in actively carrying out energy assessments
  • Previous experience of heating systems & insulation
  • Full Clean UK Drivers License & Own Ipad or android
  • Clear & effective communication skills in dealing with both office staff and customers on a daily basis
  • Available to travel throughout the UK

Desirable

  • An appreciation of the implications of Union Technicals work in the social, political and diverse areas in which we operate
  • Experience in working with the ECO Obligation

Terms of Employment

Place of work:

The post holder will be based at Head Office in Shawlands, Glasgow. Work will be based throughout the UK on a weekly basis.

Salary:

The salary for this post is £26,000/year.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am 5pm. Probationary Period:

The post holder will go through a six-month probationary period, reviewed after 1, 3 and 6 months.

Annual Leave:

The post holder is entitled to 28 days paid leave per year including certain public holidays. The holiday year runs from April to April.
