Brand Ambassador

Job Summary

Pivotal to the success of Mall2Mobile and SocialiStreet is the unique content captured and provided by our team of Brand Ambassadors. Your role will be to visit designated shopping centres and town/city centres weekly or as advised by your line manager, to liaise with retailers, take photographs and collect content to be shared with our social media and PR team via our content management system.

You will be tasked with photographing and describing content, including products, offers and news, which each retailer would like to promote. You will also liaise with centre/location management to collate information on upcoming events and relevant local information. The successful applicant will also need to work closely with the internal Social Media Executive and Account Manager for each appointed account.

We are looking for a person who is personable, reliable, well-presented, comfortable in working autonomously and confident when speaking to retailers and members of the public. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be social media and tech savvy, with a good eye for photography and confident on a smartphone. An interest in retail and/or fashion would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weekly visits to designated shopping centres plus town/city centres in the nominated area
  • Liaising with retailers and centre/location managers to collect content on products, offers, promotions, news, and events
  • Taking photographs and sharing them with the social media team via our app and content management system
  • Regularly updating the Account Manager(s) and Social Media Executive(s) on relations with retailers and the retailer mix
  • Ensuring that any requested reports are updated in a diligent and timely manner
  • Working with our client-facing team and undertaking any additional tasks requested

Person Specification


  • Strong social media experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidence in approaching and dealing with new people
  • Excellent photography and smartphone skills
  • Willingness to travel in the designated area
  • Own transport and full, clean driving license


  • Experience in the retail/leisure industry
  • Client handling experience
  • Tech savvy
  • Willingness to travel, with some overnight stays if required

This is initially a part-time post (40 hours per month, hours/days to be agreed)
