You will be developing and improving the systems and processes, developing strategy having reviewed the company´s buying strategy.
Developing existing supplier relationships, attending meeting both in the UK and overseas.
Attending exhibitions and conferences.
Supporting and coaching staff and colleagues when required.
Driving the business forward via robust and proactive research, meetings and negotiations.
The ideal candidate with have previous experience in a senior purchasing role.
Be able to demonstrate excellent cost control and profit protection.
Be able to develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships.
Your will need a full clean driving license and passport for overseas client visits.
