We are offering 2 individual internships within our Finance/Covenant and Pensions Administration business functions from September 2018.

These opportunities will enable you to gain experience of key business activities, learn about our business operations, policy, regulatory and customer requirements. We are looking for individuals who like to take ownership, have the confidence to suggest new ideas and a strong desire to learn. In return we will provide you with a great opportunity to experience aspects of our Finance/Covenant or Pensions Administration functions in order to see how they contribute to and influence how they contribute to and influence the bigger picture.

Purpose of the job: To provide research, support and assistance to progress operational priorities and strategic objectives of the Scheme Management function.

Reports to: Senior Scheme Manager

Areas of Responsibility:
Provide research, support and assistance on current projects such as the Employer Portal, accounting changes, reporting on and maintaining the Customer Relationship Database and supporting our new additional services.

Working with feedback from employers and our external provider to suggest new ways to enhance the employer experience and improve employer satisfaction.

Working with the team to bring to completion of a number of large multi-employer scheme triennial valuations from 2017.

To support the delivery of the communications strategy for the 2018 valuations, attending internal meetings, discussing the approach and strategy, undertaking research and preparing reports for presentation to the Employer Committee.

Working with TPTs various internal systems to undertake research and analysis of our internal data and reporting on findings, paying attention to detail.

To develop knowledge of pensions and TPTs business and personnel to assist with handling enquiries and inputting into projects.

To assist with the withdrawing employer process including administering periods of grace, managing new cases, handling communications both internally and externally, coordinating the actuarial and internal processes involved and managing the financial aspects of cases.

To work with and support all members of the Scheme Management function, providing research and support to key business activities.

To take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks, suggesting new ideas, working creatively with other members of the team and delivering assigned projects to tight deadlines.

Providing research and support on our external engagement plan.
