Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established corporate and commercial Law Firm in Leeds City Centre. This is a new role due to this outstanding companys reputation generating a high volume of business, creating new opportunities not only to get a foot in the door, but develop your career once there.

You will be joining an innovative Finance team, assisting with the production of monthly management accounts and processing prepayments and accruals. Your duties will also include dealing with VAT returns, administration and processing of the firms expenditure, completion of external surveys, reporting of financial information, and any ad-hoc projects necessary.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic and driven to keep pace with the bustling environment and maintain the companys exceptional standards. It is essential you are organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You must be adaptable and flexible, willing to go the extra mile to support your own team and provide the best customer service possible.

Essential Criteria:
An understanding of purchase, nominal ledger, and basic accounting principles

Previous experience in a busy accounts environment

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Client facing experience

Maths & English GCSE, C or above (or equivalent)

Salary is competitive based on experience.
