Fixed Term Contract to June 2018

Shift pattern of Monday to Friday 9am 5.30pm or 2pm to 10.30pm

thebigword is a global, technology enabled language solutions provider, that delivers translation (written word) and interpreting (spoken word) services. thebigword employs 500 people based in 13 offices in 11 countries, working with more than 12,000 linguists worldwide.

We are currently looking to recruit 5 Project Administrators to join the team in Leeds on a five month fixed term contract to provide administrative support to our New York team. You will work closely with the Project Managers and assist in the project process, being designated specific project administration tasks for completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Effective communication with team members and both internal and external suppliers
  • Processing of various types of files
  • Upload and download files
  • Run an automated QA check program
  • Ensure that schedules are adhered to
  • Update trackers

Skills and experience required:

  • IT Literate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven experience of working in an Administrative role
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet demanding deadlines
