£8.53 per hour (rising to £8.98 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
10 hours per week to be split between two schemes

The position of Caretaker plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and well presented environment by carrying out general maintenance in the scheme and grounds whilst respecting the privacy and dignity of service users.
The role of Caretaker will include:
Carrying out weekly health and safety checks and risk assessment whilst adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines
Carrying out repairs, landscaping and grounds maintenance
Liaising with and monitoring of contractors
Keeping accurate records of daily works carried out
Skills and experiences:
Previous experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance role is desirable
Practical skills in identifying and/or carrying out minor repairs
An understanding of basic health and safety
Strong communication (both written and verbal)and organisational skills are key to this role
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
