The Workshop team at Calor Gas, Stoney Stanton, are looking to recruit an organised and proactive administrator to provide a full range of professional administrative services to ensure an efficient and legally compliant transport operation. This is an opportunity to work autonomously and take real responsibility for the smooth running of the workshop at a business critical site.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overall responsibility for all administrative duties in support of the management of the vehicle fleet
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers and ensure invoices are processed within monthly budgeting deadlines
  • Accurately record information relating to vehicle breakdowns
  • Processing time sheets for technicians and fitters
  • Ensure all fleet maintenance records are complete and kept up to date
  • Collate, input and maintain data on the monthly purchasing log for further analysis and auditing purposes
  • Support Calor in fulfilling its legal, regulatory and national minimum standards concerning O licence compliance
  • Assist with the production of reports and represent the workshop function at meetings
  • Act as the point of contact when the workshop supervisor is not available

  • Have solid working knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
  • Be able to work flexibly and adapt to new challenges
