Title-Senior Commissioning Support Officer (Mental Health/Learning Disabilities).

Post- Full-time- Band 6- Fixed Term 12 months.
The post holder works as part of a hosted team within East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG to commission high quality, patient centred, cost effective services for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Groups, with a particular focus on mental health and learning disability services. This will be achieved by supporting the development of new services and undertaking service redesign as well as through the development of innovative ways of working, taking account of the Five Year Forward View and local Sustainability and Transformation Plans. (STP)
The post holder will support the implementation managers in developing local solutions to identified needs including scoping, modelling, reviewing of care pathways, identifying best practice, developing and revising service specifications, analysis of data and procurement as necessary.
The post holder will have discrete programmes, including providing support to local Sustainability and Transformation Plans. (STP) as well as other programmes of work being undertaken within the team. This will involve multi agency and collaborative working.
Successful applicants will have experience or an understanding of mental health or learning disability services, the ability to manage work programmes, be able to produce reports and be able to work collaboratively.
This is a varied role so it is essential the successful candidate has a flexible approach, positive attitude, is focused and has the ability to get things done
