About us - Bradgate Bakery is an award winning, fast paced, highly reputable family business that is heavily expanding and continually evolving. We produce sandwiches, wraps, prepared salads, pasta pots and many other chilled food to go products for a leading UK retailer. The Role -

The successful Despatch Operative will play a critical role within Despatch. Rotated regularly, the role offers a variety of tasks and responsibilities. In this position, you will be responsible for general despatch duties always ensuring impeccable standards, quality and health & safety.

The Successful Individual -

To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience and knowledge;

Experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (food manufacturing industry experienced will be advantageous)

Experience of working to and meeting tight deadlines, hitting and exceeding targets whilst adhering to production and quality specifications

The ability to work well under pressure, with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Superb communication skills the ability to liaise confidently with all internal and external stakeholders

A good understanding of Bakery Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and Food Health & Safety would be desirable

Good numeracy, literacy, and computer skills (you must be able to pass entry numeracy and literacy tests)

Experience of palleting, packing, picking and floating. This role will involve lifting.
