Document Controller

Document Controller / Operations Co-ordinator - Liverpool

Our client is a privately owned forward construction company turning over circa £10m whilst delivering new build and refurbishment projects within predominately the education, health, commercial and residential sectors.

With circa 40 employees the company have a stable workforce who enjoy working as a team in this forward thinking business. The company have strategically grown turnover to a level which requires additional support therefore they have a requirement for an Operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the IMS (ISO) system and the coordination with H&S coordinator, consultants and annual auditors
  • Liaison with QS team regarding priced projects and material cost allowances
  • Procurement of materials for live projects ensuring on time deliveries
  • Liaison with site teams and contract Managers for material and sub-contractor delivery
  • Programme information management
  • Document Control - Drawing and Project Information management ensuring project teams have up to date project information.
  • Document control RAMS and project completion documents - ensuring that subs have provided all relevant information prior to payments
  • Waste management / monitoring and procurement
  • Plant management /monitoring and procurement
  • Liaison with Sub contractors regarding start dates, lead times and information requirements
  • Valuations - Sub contractor control and ensuring QS team have relevant sub-contractor valuations on agreed dates
  • Ensuring Sub contractor payment certificates are issued by key dates
  • DBS management
  • Sub contract Labour / Hudson compliance
  • Project Defects / Retention release - Client and Sub contractors
  • Work in Progress management for accounts
  • Apprentice funding and management
  • KPI´s and liaison with H&S Co -ordinator regarding data
  • Company Vehicle cost management and reporting
  • Job Cost reporting
  • Assessment of Office system and overhead new purchases i.e. Sage Online, MS projects/ telephone systems / Insurances etc
