Work Pattern: Monday to Friday

Hours: Full time between 6.30am – 2.30pm

About Capita | Electronic Monitoring

Capita Electronic Monitoring (EMS) is contracted by the Ministry of Justice to provide electronic monitoring services (including ‘tagging’) across England and Wales. With a monitoring centre in Manchester alongside a nationwide field force, EMS are instrumental in protecting the public and making a different to people’s lives.

Working within the Equipment Service Centre in Knowsley, the role of Stores Field Support Officer is critical in ensuring correct stock levels are maintained within EMS.

What you will do:

  • Ensure timely receipt and distribution of equipment to and from suppliers and field based staff
  • Ensure agreed stock levels are achieved and maintained
  • Collate daily requirements from field based staff, agree and plan quantity to be dispatched
  • Complete and communicate daily dispatch plans with management
  • Use various systems to place orders and arrange collections
  • Regular audits of equipment
  • General housekeeping to maintain a safe and tidy working environment
  • Lifting/carrying of boxes to load/unload vehicles and stack shelves
  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested by management

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience of warehouse/logistics work
  • Excellent abilities to use Microsoft Excel and other IT packages
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work comfortably as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
