The role - Export Inside Sales Coordinator As part of this role you will provide Inside Sales support with focus on specific trades and be the focal point for Head Office sales on defined trade(s). Main Responsibilities of our Export Inside Sales Coordinator - Day to day contact with Head Office in Marseille on sales aspects of specific trades - To produce weekly trade reports for specific trade area - To produce weekly business plans and compare against vessel profiles - To monitor vessel performance on volume and weight and enact HO allocation and performance requirements - To make proactive telesales calls based on quote/ commercial data and updating CRM/ vessel profile accordingly - To carry out all aspects of Sales, with particular emphasis on Inside Sales and Quoting - To make sure that the customers are aware of all charges and all chargeable events are notified and freighted - To issue all internal and external sales staff all freight tariffs / rate sheets / surcharges and amendments - To convey significant changes in any of the above (e.g. ocean rates, caf, baf, war risk, haulage, transit times, service changes) to our UK customers - Liaison between customers, the outside sales teams and HO on negotiation of freight rates.
This also involves timely handling of all inward emails, sales leads, progress chasing - To assist in targeting and planning outside sales calls - To assist the Supervisor in preparation of monthly report and market analysis Our Export Inside Sales Coordinator will need the following Skills and Experience - Excellent organisational and communication skills - Experience in Internal Sales Role and analytical skills - Experience in account management background - Confident to meet and build customer relationships - Previous experience within the shipping industry - Excellent interpersonal skills - Good presentation & IT skills (Microsoft packages - Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint etc.) - Excellent time management skills - Driven and ambitious individual with excellent attention to detail - Educated to GCSE/Equivalent in English and Mathematics (Grade C and above) As our Export Inside Sales Coordinator you will be required to work 35 hours per week and in addition to your competitive salary you will receive 25 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays, Company Health Plan, Life Assurance, Group Pension and a non-guaranteed bonus scheme.
