Liverpool City Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Assistant to work 15 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the general cleaning within various buildings as determined by the Head of Cleaning Services or other authorised officers in accordance with the building cleaning specification.Key Accountabilities
Undertake, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Including the sweeping, washing, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of designated areas which may include toilet and associated facilities, fixtures and fittings, using the necessary materials and powered equipment.
To be responsible for the security, cleanliness and correct use of cleaning materials, plant and equipment used in providing the service.
Carry out key holding duties where appropriate.
To replenish client consumable items where appropriate.
Undertake any training that is deemed appropriate in aiding the development the service.
Wear appropriate uniform/protective equipment as issued, including an identity badge.
