Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant

Role Overview

  • A technical or functional support role expected to support closely defined tasks within company procedures and industry standards. The person will receive instruction, tasks and guidance from a more senior manager.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administration involved in the day to day running of the office
  • Maintain office records
  • Maintain office efficiency
  • Organise office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs
  • General office administration duties including copying, processing of on-site employment applications, forms and records
  • Ensure office health and safety standards are met in conjunction with on-site health and safety team
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience of general office administration (answering the telephone, filing, photocopying, dealing with enquiries)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong inter-personal skills
  • Experience of working within a small team and/or prioritising own workload
  • Excellent time keeping, reliability and personal organisation skills
  • Positive attitude to change when presented
  • Contributes to change in own area of work
Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to manage a given list of tasks
