The Student System Support Officer will work with teams across UCL providing support for the student system during the student lifecycle. You will work within the Student Lifecycle team developing expertise in the student system and its interaction with programme and module information.
You will be first line support for queries relating to the student system. You are responsible for development and maintenance of automated functions in Portico (SITS). You will support training and collaborate with staff working in academic departments and faculties as well as develop user-friendly guides on how to use the Portico systems.
This post is covering a fixed term absence. It is funded to 31 July 2018, or when the substantive post holder returns, whichever is sooner. There is the possibility of funding being extended to 2019. Key Requirements
It is essential that you have working knowledge of a student information system and have experience of providing system support in a Higher Education institution or similar environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to apply analytical and problem solving skills to the role as well as having the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues across UCL.
