Ipc Audit & Support Officer

London Ambulance Service (LAS) NHS Trust, one of the busiest ambulance services in England, is looking for flexible, adaptable team players to fill 1 position as IPC Audit and Support Officer during office hours - one fulltime position (Mon- Fri).

Candidate should be literate, numerate with a good level of IT skills, data management and auditing experience, to support the wider Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team. They should be able to work autonomously and be able to confidently liaise with station staff in the sectors, to support the delivery of the IPC objectives within the Annual Work Plan and ensure continuous improvements going forwards.

The IPC Team is responsible for the provision of specialist advice on the prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection within LAS, the formulation of policy and procedures and continuously shaping the education of health care workers through lessons learned, national guidance and compliance with regulation, with a focus on making LAS a great place to work and improving patient experience.
