An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, organised individual to join the team at the Fortune Theatre in the role of Cellar Person. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate management of all the venue stock to ensure our day to day operation runs efficiently. You should have good attention to detail and good communication skills as this role requires confidently liaising with staff, suppliers and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a position of great responsibility in a prestigious West End theatre.
This role is for 20 hours per week, Monday - Saturday.

Ordering stock accurately placing orders through our purchase ordering system to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Receiving deliveries accurately checking deliveries on arrival and ensuring all stock is stored in the appropriate locations.
Re-stock sales areas on a daily basis, ensuring they are ready for service.
Completing weekly stock counts to assist the venue management in monitoring stock margins.
Inputting all delivery notes, stock transfers, line checks and stock counts into Zonal stock management system.
To complete all related admin, ensuring all bar stock sheets are kept up to date and all relevant documents, stock counts and delivery notes are filed correctly.
Implement effective stock management systems to ensure stock rotation is taking place and wastage is kept to a minimum.
To play an active role in ensuring stock security across the venue.
Maintaining upkeep of bar equipment such as glass-washers, slush machines and fridges and liaising with appropriate external contractors to arrange maintenance visits.
Experience working with Zonal stock management system.
Experience counting and reconciling stocks.
Understanding of the theatre industry.
