Referential Static Data Analyst

Job Summary

Job Purpose

Client Referential Data (CRD)s mandate is to manage all client static and reference data used across the Bank. CRD provides a service to Front Office by maintaining client data to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date at all times across all Bank systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the functional data architecture of client data across systems : Fenergo, CIF/OSD and downstream
  • Understand the various systems that the CRD team uses and how each piece of data is created and maintained
  • Process business requests for creation and changes to client data in accordance with the teams procedures and internal SLAs
  • Process requests for creation/changes of/to new internal or external accounts
  • Process requests for creation/changes of/to Standard Settlement Instructions
  • Raise any exception to a senior member of the team for resolution
  • Attest to key controls related to client data having been respected

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge, Technical Skills and Expertise:

  • Knowledge of Investment Banking support functions
  • Financial services, background with experience of financial data systems
  • IT literate and ability to quickly adapt to new software systems.
  • Strong Excel and VBA Skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written / verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively organize and work to tight deadlines, ensuring day-to-day objectives are met.
  • Results orientated ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
  • IT literate and ability to quickly adapt to new software systems.


  • Technical ability to write database queries and to understand database structure from a business and IT point of view
  • Ability to work within strict guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to Change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of personal integrity to align to the Banks values
