We designed, built and run GOV.UK, the best place to find government information and services. Were building GOV.UK Verify, a new way to prove who you are online. We run the Government Data Programme, helping to make data across government easier to find, access and put to good use.
Were building platforms that make the work of transformation easier for departments - things like GOV.UK Pay, GOV.UK Notify, and Government Platform as a Service. Theyre just the first of many more to come. This is just some of what we do.

GDS National, International & Research (NI&R) is designed to look, listen and act beyond the confines of central government as the UK prepares for fundamental changes to our economy and public services in the course of this parliament. The Group will support delivery of the Government Transformation Strategy and work across Whitehall in enabling, within its remit, the published single departmental plans.
The Portfolio Support Officer role will be part of the business operations for NI&R reporting to the Business Operations Manager.
In addition, the role will also be part of a wider business management community of practice, a group which works across all of GDS in different teams. As part of this community, you will have the opportunity to move laterally and widen your knowledge of digital, technology and data.
