Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic business relationships within customer accounts
Build and track pipeline opportunities
Act as brand ambassador for MCA and provide high standards of customer service.
Identify key clients and develop effective client relations to create new business opportunities.
Attend sessions on product knowledge and sales training.
Support the sales team in implementing new initiatives that are relevant and promote business growth through sales activities.
Develop a deep understanding of our customers needs and our product offerings
Represent the needs and requests of your customer base to our product team
Work with our client support and training teams to ensure our customers are properly supported
Maintain a very high level of customer/user retention
Gather industry and market intelligence that helps MCA compete in the marketplace
Generate a meaningful pipeline of leads and prospects
Assist other sales team members when needed with sales campaigns and revenue reports
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Business required; Advanced degree is a plus
Strong understanding of traditional financial instruments as well as a working knowledge of structured products and derivatives
Detailed understanding of customer´s workflows including back and middle office processes, gained from several years experience working for a financial institution or data provider
Minimum of five years financial service experience in product management or related areas with extensive knowledge of Corporate Actions
Knowledge of DTCC, Euroclear, SWIFT, ISO is a plus
Experience working in a revenue generating division focused on financial product transactions, decision support analytics, or content monetization
Personal resolve to establish product delivery milestones, aligned with internal revenue targets and identification of possible deviations
Skilled communicator and influencer with the ability to successfully communicate the strategy internally and externally (both formally and informally)
Proactive, self-starter, and able to work independently and interact with all levels of management
Sharp analytical skills to assess the revenue and cost implications of business decisions taken
Ability to identify and diagnose, customer content needs and create tactical solutions
Flexible and adaptable to new challenges
Intelligent and numerate
Strong skills required to be able to interact professionally with external clients and across business units within the company
Must be a willing team player both within immediate team and within a project environment
