We Offer
  • A Vice President-level role with responsibility for day-to-day management of media relations and corporate communications for one of the bank’s key divisions in the EMEA region
  • You will be required to work both independently and within the team to manage the corporate reputation of the division, working with a variety of stakeholders to do so
  • Helping with the execution of the division and the bank’s integrated communication plans, supporting strategic objectives
  • The opportunity to support divisional strategy by raising awareness of the EMEA franchise’s strengths and differentiation, sustained business momentum and experienced global management team
  • Selectively and actively raise the profile of the business at industry/media conferences, through engagement in industry coalitions/trade groups and, as appropriate, in targeted media
  • Partner with the business areas to help achieve strategic objectives by reaching key clients/prospects/influencers through coverage of transactions, hires, research, market insight, and awards
  • The chance to promote Credit Suisse’s global narrative and talking points, and interactive with senior management where appropriate
  • Additional responsibilities, as required, including back up and supporting colleagues, both in the EMEA region and globally
You Offer
  • You will have at least five years of experience or the equivalent of demonstrated expertise in financial PR and/or financial journalism
  • Positive relationships with key financial media and an understanding of their requirements
  • The ability to work with and provide strategic counsel and practical advice to bankers and management
  • Strong ability to translate often complex financial materials into meaningful pitches
  • Crisis communications experience, working closely with senior managers, legal and media
  • Identify innovative and distinctive story ideas and place them proactively in key media
  • Ability to work within a high energy, high expectation, team-oriented global culture, handling sensitive information under pressure
  • The ability to multi-task on a daily basis, managing ongoing projects as well as ad-hoc issues that demand immediate attention
  • You will be familiar with the financial services industry and have an understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills (English)
  • Sound judgment, good instincts and the highest ethical standards
