Marketing Communucations Assistant

UCL Careers provides a wide variety of careers information, one-to-one guidance and events to all current UCL students, researchers, (staff and students), and to recent UCL graduates.

The Marketing Communications Assistant will undertake a broad range of duties, to support the Marketing Communications Manager, by promoting UCL Careers activities and events, and to build and monitor student engagement and reputation. This includes supporting digital marketing and CRM, social media, events, media relations, design and print. The post-holder will be managed by the Marketing Communications Manager and will work within the UCL Careers department alongside the rest of the Careers team.
Key Requirements

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Communications Assistant who enjoys diverse work and who can contribute to the development of marketing and communication messages for the careers department. This is an ideal role if you are an enthusiastic individual who is comfortable producing content and material to engage with students and recent graduates through impactful social media campaigns, newsletters, online storytelling or event promotion.

The post-holder will have an enthusiasm for digital marketing and making the most out of social media channels. They will administrate the career website ensuring it is up-to-date and promoted appropriately. They will collect and analyse feedback from employers and visitors at events, produce reports using this data and identify positive feedback for use in marketing communications.

They will also have excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise own workload and remain calm under pressure. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office, and using databases to manage contacts, vacancies and events.
