Practice Support Coordinator

Slater and Gordon currently have a great opportunity for an experienced legal support professional to join the employers liability team in our Manchester office.

We are looking for an individual who has proven finance, legal and administration experience, excellent excel and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.

Responsibilities will include:
Administrative support including booking travel and meetings
Collate data to enable Heads of Practice and managers to review and forecast settlement figures
Assist with finance authorisations
Weekly review of client balances, liaising with fee earners and finance on high value balances to ensure funds are allocated
Monitoring files including, but not limited to, sorting definitions and triggers, scrutiny of matter list
Oversee completion of practice area data review-chase and prepare
Oversee and review of limitation list with Senior Managers
Assist with failed case actions such as monitoring requested write offs, notification of suppliers (deferred disbursements), monitor claims under ATE policies
Manage and maintain quality, professional and ethical client service, list of accounts and status of individual cases
