Have you got the energy and passion to help us shape the future of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust? We are looking for a Strategic Programme Co-ordinator to join our dynamic corporate team, which has responsibility for:

o Trust Strategy

o Annual business planning

o Capital Planning and Prioritisation

o Service Development and reconfiguration of services

o Commercial and Bid Management

The team is looking for a Strategic Programme Co-ordinator for 6 months to provide administrative support to a wide range of Strategy Programmes including supporting the monitoring and delivery of the Trusts capital programme. The post will provide administrative and project support, and will work with the team to establish systems and procedures to monitor and track delivery of the Trusts strategic programmes.

During the 6 months the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to shadow, co facilitate and develop their programme management skills within a busy corporate team. This opportunity will allow you to develop skills and knowledge; the learning will be transferable back into the division/ team.

The successful candidate will have substantial administrative experience and experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel to an advanced level. You will have the ability to clearly and accurately convey complex information, and to use your own judgement and initiative. You will also have excellent organisational skills, as you will be required to support a variety of projects at any one time.

The post holder will be based at City Campus, although cross-site working will be required.

All new employees starting work at NUH will be subject to a DBS check and liable for the cost (£49 for enhanced, £31 for standard, £30 for basic).

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
