Us:

Glee is a comedy and live music venue operating every Friday & Saturday throughout the year. In addition to this we host a number of different events including live music gigs, comedy tour shows and burlesque.

The venue is situated in the iconic British Waterways Building down by Castle Wharf.

We are about to enter our busiest and best year on record. We have hosted many great new acts and well established acts during our time as Nottinghams only purpose built comedy venue.

We operate over four floors with four bars.

We have two auditoriums and a beautiful ground floor bar right next to the canal.

Comedy Tour Show and Music Tour seasons happen Sept- Nov and Feb-May.

Christmas

During the month of December we host our ever popular Christmas Party nights. Which run right up until the 23rd of December. Thankfully we close during the majority of Xmas week and typically reopen for our sell out NYE show.

Summer

This is our quiet period where Tour shows go to the Edinburgh Fringe and bands head to the festival circuit so we only tend to open for our regular Friday & Saturday comedy nights. We are a night time venue though the bar manager role will be required during the day in the week to take deliveries and open up for service partners.

You:

This has typically been a long held position by a few exceptional candidates since we opened in 2010. We are looking for a highly capable, well experienced candidate to join our team.

This is a hands on role where the Floor Manager serves customers and works with their team, rather than pure delegation.

Bonuses are linked to productivity so this is in your interest.

We are looking for someone highly reliable, practical and efficient with exceptional customer service and leadership and interpersonal skills. Our auditoriums are fast paced and high volume so speed efficiency and accuracy are key.
