Senior Project Manager

You will be working as part of a wider team, responsible for
the day to day delivery of a wide variety of projects across a number of construction sectors, initially supporting the relevant project leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day delivery of projects
  • Stakeholder management
  • Developing and utilising key project documents
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Programme preparation and ownership
  • Procurement and coordination of site surveys,
  • project consultants, suppliers and contractors
  • Contract administration
  • Preparation of project specific tender and
  • contract documentation
  • Understand and maintain awareness of the different
  • Building Contracts available and the corresponding legislation
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • A degree in Project Management or Construction Management
  • A minimum 5 years relevant industry experience with a sound
  • knowledge of construction
  • An ability to lead, coordinate and run construction projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Asta Powerproject
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • General knowledge and understanding of current
  • industry developments
  • Excellent communication

  • First rate literacy and numeracy
  • Effective problem solving
  • Commitment and enthusiasm
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Ability to drive (full UK driving license)
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • MRICS or MAPM qualification
  • A strong awareness of construction cost information
  • and cost reporting procedures
