Burt Bros is a leading supplier of quality socks, underwear, major sports brands, hats, gloves, scarves, tights and other accessory products to leading supermarkets and high street retailers.
To be part of our sales team your main duties will include;
Sourcing and negotiating with factories
Maintaining strong relationships with our established customers
Opening doors with new customers and building new accounts
Work with our in house design team to identify trends and translate into appropriate products for our customers
Support the internal team by attending weekly critical path meetings and working to a schedule
We are looking for an established account manager to work with our team and closely with our customers. The candidate needs to be well organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ideal Candidate Skills:
To be Microsoft office literate
Must be a good team player and able to listen and communicate well – especially when working with our overseas factories
Prepared to work extra time when necessary to meet customer deadlines
Previous experience working with major supermarkets and high street retailers
A background within the Sock industry is preferable.
You will need to be flexible and willing to travel within the UK and occasional overseas trips.
Our hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Friday
Salary negotiable upon experience
