Senior Bid Manager

An important component to the success of our Midlands business is our bids team, due to growth in our region we are looking to grow our bids team and recruit a Senior Bid Manager to work either in our Nottingham location. As Senior Bid Manager not only will you provide and implement creative ideas and initiatives into bids, you will also control and shape the bid proposals and manage the production of accurate, well presented bid documentation for tenders and work programmes. With regular client liaison, you and your team will provide de-risked, profitable, compliant, affordable bids in line with Willmott Dixon´s strategic objectives.
Essential and Desirable Criteria

The ideal candidate:
Will be able to demonstrate the ability to project manage the whole bid process for large and / or complex schemes, from launch to handover to the delivery team
Can lead the bid team and bid process in all aspects of the submission and produce high quality qualitative bid submissions on time within budget
Have lead complex technical construction schemes or programmes of work
Can deal with diverse technical input
Will have experience of reviewing and assessing bid enquiries
Creating and writing effective bid submissions
Using Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
Be able to inspire bid contributors
Superb standard of written and spoken English.
Excellent standard of resource planning
