Hr Project Manager - Banking - Cyber Security -

Role: We have the urgent need to engage an experienced Project Manager who has been working within the Cyber Security sector, whose accountabilities have included Global Resource Planning and Management, as he/she will be responsible for scoping and managing the evolution to a more balanced location based headcount model to meet centrally driven targets for a major Investment bank. Basically he/she is going to be accountable for ensuring that the Bank has sufficient Cyber Security based professionals in the right areas of the globe - so this could involve the relocation of employees to balance out the existing skill within the Bank as well as address the issues of hiring these highly sought after professionals in a market where demand is exceeding supply.

Initially the term of the assignment is two months. However due to the amount of work to be done and overall programme deliverables in place, we are very confident that the term will be extended for a considerable longer period of time.

Key skills sought:
Sound Project Management skills (ie covered the entire project life cycle and has secured the Prince 2 qualification)
Offers an impressive track record of delivering mission critical projects on time and within budget.
Experience of setting up internal organisation structures within a corporate firm
Identification, escalation and resolution of risks
Experience of managing/addressing the location of skills/resources across a global company, as well as relocation of roles and skills.
Good knowledge/understanding of the Cyber Security area
Experience of working within the Financial Services Sector
Addressing specific skill shortage issues.
Sound experience of dealing with HR Headcount and Global Resource Planning and management.
The successful candidate will be accountable for addressing headcount issues as well as change management matters involving resources and skills. He/she will also be looking at existing locations and future locations which will require specific Cyber Security SMEs. So the role is going to involve scoping and managing the evolution to a more balanced location based headcount model to meet centrally driven targets.

The ideal candidate has managed multiple priorities in a fast paced, global banking environment with a strong focus on project management and overall delivery. He/she is accustomed to setting up and managing high profile HR based remediation projects. Offers a track record of developing and managing timelines, resource plans, and budgetary requirements for large scale projects. Has worked with other project stakeholders to identify and manage inter-project dependencies. Able to successfully plan, initiate, track, record and deliver projects using a proven project framework.
