We are seeking an empathetic Concierge for one of our supported housing projects in Sheffield. The Beaufort Project provides accommodation, assertive support and an intensive housing management service to 18 customers with enduring mental health issues. Our aim is to equip the individual with personal, social, vocational and practical life skills; enabling them to take control of their life and live independently within the community.
As Concierge you will need to be able to build relationships with people with enduring mental health issues and direct customers to the appropriate support in the event of incidents. You may also be dealing with complaints and incidents of anti-social behaviour. You will be required to follow agreed recording practices and policies and you will ensure the safety & security of the tenants and the building during the night.
To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers present. You will have the ability to communicate well with a wide range of people, verbally and in writing. You will be approachable and demonstrate a positive, sensitive and constructive approach to working with clients, colleagues and professionals. You will possess a positive "Can Do" solution oriented attitude to fit in with a small team and build on the successes of this excellent service You will have a commitment to diversity, customer excellence and equal opportunities.
You will work an alternate shift pattern, working five waking nights (9.45pm 8.15am) one week and two waking nights the other week.
