Our client is a busy shopfitting company who are looking for an experienced stores person with a clean driving license. The role is based at their small warehouse facility in Sheffield 9 and also involve driving materials to sites all over the UK.
Duties include: Working with building materials and being able to categorise and manage stock daily Keeping track of materials in and out and liaising with site managers to provide materials to site Using company laptop to keep records of materials in stock and emailing site managers and other staff Loading and unloading materials and driving materials to sites all over the UK Keeping the warehouse area clean and tidy and observe health and safety regulations Taking and making phone calls to site managers and other staff relating to fit outs
You will need: Previous experience of working with building materials and being able to categorise them Previous warehouse stock locating and management experience Clean driving license and confident driving skills and knowledge of UK geography Physically fit to be able to load and unload building materials Computer literate and able to use MS Outlook, Excel and Word confidently Be able to work independently, stay motivated and responsibly Proactive, "can do" attitude with good communication skills both written and verbal
Working 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday you will in return receive a competitive salary and company benefits.
