Job Title: Distribution Driver
Responsible to: Transport Manager
Location: Dinnington Distribution Centre
Salary: £31,675 per annum with On Target Earnings £40,000
Bonuses paid monthly, overnight stay allowance, meal allowance, 20 days holiday pa, full training and induction, excellent career prospects
To operate the company vehicles in a safe and professional manner including the operation of vacuum tankers, forklift trucks and double deck curtain sider fleet
To deliver machines, drums, allied products and solvents to the company facilities.
To collect from the facility, machines that require refurbishment, waste solvents for recycling or disposal or any item approved by the company for carriage.
Deliver any of the above to a third party location as directed by the company management.
Collect materials or wastes, as approved by the company, from any third party and deliver to any of the company premises and/or a third party as approved by the company.
To ensure all company assets are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition at all t imes.This includes vehicles, trailers, forklifts and any other equipment issued to carry out the drivers duties.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and neatly to ensure all products, wastes, dangerous goods and/or any other material are carried legally and within the terms of the companys Policies and procedures.
Key Success Criteria
Establish and maintain a good and accident free driving record.
Be flexible in approach to all duties expected as part of the job functions.
Be flexible with working away from base, the role requires up to 3 nights out per week.
Maintain a good company image both personally and through the condition of your vehicle and attitude to work.
Ensure the company branches and any third party customers or agents receive the best levels of service.
Portray a good, friendly and helpful attitude.
To comply with current EU regulations with regards to tachographs & working time legislation.
ADR certificate All classes apart from 1 & 7.
C + E Drivers Licence.
Counterbalance or Moffet Mounty Forklift Licence would be an advantage, but training would be considered for the right candidate.
Good Team Player.
Focused on the efficiency of the vehicles productivity.
Portray a good image.
